Nick Fury will also be making a return to prominence in the film, recruiting Spider-Man during his school field trip, and from the looks of things, he will be the only hero around at the time. From the sound of things, however, it seems like fans may have to wait just a little while longer to see the villain make his first big screen live-action debut. This official new poster for #SpiderManFarFromHome has been revealed! /kfxkF4lxkt While Mando never ended up donning the Scorpion suit in Spidey's initial outing for the Marvel Cinematic Universe, many fans expressed hope that he might do so in Spider-Man: Far From Home. Mando didn't play a huge role in Spider-Man: Homecoming, but Gargan is a big enemy of Spider-Man in the comics, where he portrays perhaps the most well-known version of Scorpion. Both characters were taken down by Peter Parker in Spider-Man: Homecoming and ended up in the same prison at the end of that film. In fact, it seems as if Mando will seemingly be absent from the movie altogether, similar to Michael Keaton's Vulture, who was confirmed to be absent from the upcoming sequel. Michael Mando, who portrayed Mac Gargan in Spider-Man: Homecoming, will not become his well-known supervillain counterpoint Scorpion in the upcoming Spider-Man: Far From Home.
